There are many best practices in survey design that, when implemented, enhance both the validity and reliability of the data you ultimately gather. In doing so, you can have greater confidence in the insights you uncover and the decisions you make based on your survey results. This session will cover a variety of these best practices including techniques for writing and ordering survey questions, designing scales, discouraging "satisficing", and evaluating (and improving) respondent attention.
