Whilst we know that robust MaxDiff estimation requires respondents to see an item many times, recent investigations into Sparse designs have indicated that this method performs better than expected. However, how Sparse is too Sparse? This session will highlight an investigation into the point at which incrementally sparse designs fail to accurately predict known utilities.
