Choice Modeling Workshop

May 2-3, 2023

Come and join us for a two-day Choice Modeling workshop taught by the experts at Sawtooth Software. This is an introductory workshop aimed at those completely new to choice modeling or with limited experience hoping to gain a deeper understanding. We’ll pull back the curtains and demystify how everything works from start to finish.

Participants should bring a laptop computer with them, as we’ll explore programming and analysis of both a Choice-Based Conjoint and MaxDiff project using Discover, our easy-to-use online platform.

What You'll Learn

  • Why conjoint analysis has flourished and been so widely used in business/insights applications
  • Different types of conjoint analysis (strengths, weaknesses, and best use cases)
  • How to design and program choice experiments that deliver meaningful data
  • Different approaches to analyzing Choice-Based Conjoint and MaxDiff models
  • How “What If” prediction simulators work using conjoint models
  • Why MaxDiff is so effective as a replacement for rating and ranking questions
  • Total Unduplicated Reach and Frequency and its application to MaxDiff and beyond
  • More advanced variations of Conjoint Analysis and MaxDiff to handle complex, real-world problems (some of these illustrated using Lighthouse Studio, our Windows-based platform)
  • How to add Discover’s Conjoint and MaxDiff capabilities alongside your existing survey platform
