A hands-on training for marketing science and Quant UX researchers looking to establish proficiency in MaxDiff (Best-Worst Scaling), apply the skills using Sawtooth’s Discover platform, and qualify (via passing an exam) for Sawtooth’s proficiency certification.
Register to attend for $200.
We’ll introduce MaxDiff and describe which research situations you’d favor it over other simpler approaches.
We’ll cover market segmentation using Discover’s powerful, yet easy-to-use “segment finder” (via latent class analysis).
We’ll explain why TURF (Total Unduplicated Reach and Frequency) can be a valuable extension of MaxDiff analysis for optimizing sets of items to reach/motivate the largest number of consumers.
After the course concludes, you’ll be able to take a certification test to assess your knowledge about MaxDiff. Success on the test leads to a Sawtooth MaxDiff certification that you can add to your digital profile and resume.
July 28-30, 2026. The class will be held from 10:00 am - 1 1:30 am Mountain Time each day. The event will be hosted virtually through the Zoom platform.
Registration is $200.
Bryan Orme , CEO of Sawtooth Software.
A $50 cancellation fee applies to cancellations made after July 15.
Because this is a hands-on software training event, you will need a laptop to use during the workshop. We will email you the instructions to access the Sawtooth Software License you need a few days before the start of the workshop, but you are responsible for providing your own computer.
